Here I Am

Throughout the Old Testament the Lord works through his chosen people, the Israelites, to bring about his good plan for rescuing the world from the results of the Fall. During this series, we will look at three occasions in the Old Testament where God speaks to individuals and they respond with “here I am.” This answer to God’s call results in each of them being assigned a difficult task, but the Lord uses their attunement to His voice and obedience to His word to bring about much good. The same God who spoke to these men in the Old Testament continues to speak to us today. What does it look like for us to listen and respond to God's voice like these individuals in Scripture?
