Dear New Life,

Today I have the privilege of sharing that our Pastoral Team just voted to appoint Steveie King as the newest Minister at New Life Church! At New Life, Minister is a woman who holds the office of deaconess, but has a responsibility unique from other deaconesses. Her responsibility is to participate in all elder meetings and to assist and advise the elders in leading the whole church. With this role in mind, a minister must meet the same character qualifications for an elder as spelled out in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. Steveie has been in a development process for this role for the past several years. We are exceptionally proud of the work she's put in and we feel honored to have her join our Elder and Minister Team.

We plan to announce this from the stage on Sunday, December 7th, during our worship service, so please plan to join us that day to celebrate.

As you may recall, we recently asked for input from all of you about Steveie's appointment, which is the final step in our process. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. It helped confirm the great things we've been seeing in Steveie's life and ministry.
