We are partnering with Christian Love Fellowship Church again this year to provide drawstring backpacks for Scarlett Middle School students as part of our SE Ann Arbor justice partnership. The students at Scarlett come from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds and every year that we have helped provide these backpacks has blessed that whole school community. We’ve done this project as a church for about ten years because the principal, Gerald Vasquez, has communicated this as one of their top needs and ways we can help their students. The total cost is about $5000 to provide 650 backpacks. Would you consider giving what you are able to help us cover this cost? $8 would cover one backpack, while $200 would cover 25.
