Julia Fogelson

On the first Sunday of the school year in the fall of 2018, I attended New Life’s kick-off service. I was invited by a friend, and because I had adored my home church growing up, I had high expectations of what I thought church should be. When I arrived, I experienced overflowing, deeply-rooted joy in Jesus and a community that was committed to authenticity and genuine discipleship. I knew immediately that this would be my church home for my time in college. I have watched the Lord slowly soften my heart to the work of ministry, and am passionate about discipling women, training up leaders, and helping students to know Christ and follow him with their life!

I love to be on the water, drink good coffee, ask hard questions, and have deep conversation with friends. I feel alive and vibrant in nature, and love experiencing God’s creation with others. Currently, I serve with the Hill Central Region, which consists mainly of students from the Markley, Oxford, and Stockwell dorms. I am excited to help foster a community that is passionate about the glory of God!
